We've been in venice now for about 16 days. how about it America? We have spent the last two days getting drum sounds and will hopefully start tracking today. I have no other information for you but here is a random list of whatever... read it real fast.

Hey, we posted some dates on our TOUR page... and not like "date" dates... as if to say "hey you over there, let's go on a date" I mean more like TOUR dates, where we show up in and around your city and sonically rock your faces right off and then leave you in the aftermath... An ocean of faces will surround you, in which you will have to find your own and attempt to re-attach it... By this time we will be at a truck stop eating junk food.

Hey Maggots!!!

Just kidding... but someday we got get into calling you guys something stupid like that, i think it's band law. We should start brainstorming or the music police over at "hardcore metal, argue about dumb stuff, message board 252" might arrest us. come and get us!!

Anyway, writing has been coming along great! We are six songs deep at this point. The songs are very different (as always) but it's still us and it's still heavy. I can't even explain how excited we are about releasing this monster.

On this record we will be writing a song with Page Hamilton (Helmet) and a few other people that will be announced later. We are not just doing "guest vocal" spots for them either... every band does that... we are going to write songs with them.

The record will be out at the end of this summer and it will be called The Anti Mother.

Lots of stuff happening, humans. First thing to say is that we have a new drummer and his name is Chris Raines. Chris is from the planet zillad but we're not racist so we let him in our band. He is an awesome dude and we're stoked to have him. He is also the "scene it" champion and is from the band SPITFIRE. They have a new record coming out soon called "Cult Fiction" and it's a great record. You can check them out at their myspace profile.

We are playing a show at The Loft in Atlanta, GA on Feb 1st, so if you wanna see us and our new drummer Chris you should come to that show. (please don't feed him)

We have started writing officially for a new record that we expect to be out late summer. We are two songs deep actually and it's sounding great. We have not yet thought of a title... but i feel like that will be coming at you soon enough. You can see some pictures of out practice space at our myspace page.

Speaking of writing, we will have several guest spots on this record that we're really excited about... great friends... great musicians. More to come on that later.

2007 came and went. We're all definitely ready to get a new start. In two weeks we start writing the new record. We will write until march when we will play some low key shows with new material, THEN we will continue to write throughout the month.

In April we will head into the studio. More to come on who and where we're recording.

We are excited about making this next record and can't wait for all of you to hear it, especially those of you who have been with us since the beginning. Thanks to all of you who have been there, through all of our musical changes, member changes etc. We have the best fans in the world, hands down!

We start writing in January, we record in April, we're playing the entire Warped Tour next year... Merry Christmas.

Hey there...

Thanks to everyone who has been coming to see us recently, it's great being out with all these bands (Saosin, Alexisonfire) so check out the dates and start driving... here's some stuff to read.

We are in the works of releasing a Vinyl box set that will include everything we've done. We are pretty early in the process, but it shouldn't take long to actually come out. Vinyl is just a fun thing for us to do, but it sounds great too. This will be a limited pressing.

We are planning on doing some shows in Dec. in the south just for the hell of it. More to come on that... We will be announcing a replacement drummer around that time most likely, for all of you who are wondering what we're doing. We just feel like we should wait to do this out of respect for Daniel.

We have been in full on write mode since this tour started, we are too excited to wait any longer and we wanted to get an early start on showing each other our ideas. We are super enthusiastic about what we have come up with so far. This next record will not satisfy us unless it comes alive and kidnaps a baby dolphin.

Get those frontal and temporal lobes working, because this is Norma Jean for the next YEAR (pretty much). Lots going on and most of this is fairly up in the air. I bet you a million most of you don't even really read this... anyway...

This month we are finishing out playing these festivals and next month we'll be in Mexico. Starting at the end of September till the beginning of November we will be on tour with Saosin, Alexis on Fire and Envy on the Coast for six weeks. More to come on this... TOUR DATES HAVE BEEN POSTED.

After that we have talked about doing a two week UK / European Tour. More to come on that as well. (this is way in the air so i can't really hand out too much info on this)

AFTER THAT we will start writing full time for our next record which we hope to be out in the summer of 2008. We are already so anxious to get started on this. We will most likely start touring again in the late spring / summer of 2008.
