NORMA JEAN VIDEO CONTEST
RULES OF PARTICIPATION
1. OVERVIEW
Heads up Norma Jean fans! On our tour this fall we’ll be playing a brand new song, “Kill More Presidents.” We CAN’T WAIT for you guys to hear it. And since we have the best fans in the world, we want to do something cool to get you guys as excited as we are. So, come out to your local show with your video camera and film us playing the new song. We’ll compile all the videos, sync ‘em with a live recording of “Kill More Presidents” and blast it out to you guys!
2. WHO IS ELIGIBLE:
All United States residents, with the exception of those residing in Rhode Island, are eligible to participate in and win this contest.
3.Here’s how to get involved:
- Get a ticket to one of our upcoming shows HERE.
- Go to the show, rock out with us.
- Bring your video camera: digital camera, Flip cam, cell phone—if it shoots video, bring it!
- Use that to film us while we play our new song “Kill More Presidents.” (We’ll make an announcement from the stage before performing the song, so you guys will know when to film.)
- After the show, click HERE to submit your email address for the Norma Jean mailing list and upload your video.
- If you don’t have a digital video camera but still want to submit your email for the mailing list, click HERE and be entered to win.
Requirements for Submissions:
- We will accept: .MP4 and Quicktime formats no greater than 400 MB.
- We will NOT accept videos that contain:
- Technical Difficulties (no sound or image);
- Copyrighted clips from a TV show, movie or music video;
- Materials or likenesses that infringe any third party’s rights; or
- Libelous, tortious, or otherwise unlawful material.
4. CONTEST ENTRY PERIOD: The Contest will begin on November 19, 2009. It will run until December 31, 2009.
5. HOW TO WIN: Winners will be chosen at random. Everybody who submits their email address and uploads a video will be entered to win THE GRAND PRIZE. If you don’t have a digital video camera but still want to submit your email for the mailing list, click

7. GENERAL CONDITIONS:
You hereby represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights in and to all videos you provide, and that such videos shall not infringe any proprietary or other rights of third parties or contain any libelous, tortious, or otherwise unlawful information.
All videos submitted in this contest will be deemed “works made for hire” owned and authored solely by Razor & Tie Direct, LLC (“R&T") within the meaning of the U.S. Copyright Act. If for any reason the videos are determined not be “works made for hire” as aforesaid, then you hereby irrevocably grant, transfer and assign to R&T all rights of every nature in and to the videos, including, without limitation, all rights of copyright and all extensions, renewals and reversions thereof in perpetuity throughout the universe. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, R&T will have the exclusive, perpetual right to use and authorize others to use the videos, in whole or in part, throughout the universe in any and all media, now known or hereinafter devised, alone, or together or as part of other material of any kind or nature, without any payment or compensation to you.
